Implementation projects and roll-outs

Gasser ERP Consulting offers support for mySAP Financials implementation projects. This includes all required phases of an implementation project such as project planning, business blueprint, customizing, production preparation and live support.

The implementation activities can be conducted according to the ASAP method from SAP (certfied) or according to a method specified by the client. In addition to core tasks such as process definition and system configuration, Gasser ERP Consulting also has extensive pratical experience in areas such as transfer of legacy data, integration testing and interface development.

For planned roll-out projects, we find it important to take critical factors, especially those which play a central role in internationally designed systems, into consideration as early on in the project as possible:

  • centralised/de-centralised controlling philosophies

Improvement projects

Due to changing conditions, it is necessary to make regular adjustments and modifications to the productive systems. Often, the potential of applications with regard to functionality is not fully utilised. The initial system investment can be better leveraged with comparably little improvement expenditure.

Due to the fact that we are dealing with productive system environments, it is advisable to take all necessary precautions and make use of appropriate practical experience. Some examples resulting from practical consulting experience:

  • Introduction of parallel accounting (HGB, FER, US-GAAP, IAS) more>>
  • Integration of SAP Logistics (MM, SD, PP, PS). Systematic compilation and realisation of financial accounting & controlling requirements
  • New, productive organisational units (company codes, controlling areas, etc.) that are to be integrated or de-activated due to re-organisation, mergers or company purchases

Support for Productive Operation

When unusual problem situations occur, specialised know-how is often necessary in order to solve the problem quickly and securely.

Depending on customer preference, support tasks can be carried out on-site or via a low-cost remote connection.

  • Mass reversal of posting data due to incorrect recording parameters (e.g. wrong account assignment or additional assignment). Analysis of desired outcome and current situation, plotting course of correction, technical realisation, execution and supervision
  • Conducting period-end closing (month, quarter, half-year, year) more>>
  • Restatements of closures due to modified conditions (e.g. re-organisation or re-evaluation)
  • Troubleshooting for complex system problems and problems in financial and business accounting in conjunction with an SAP system (error analysis and method of resolution)
